GOD:
My best Friend! In trouble, in sweetness, still moments and in joy...He is with me! I LOVE sharing all my moments with the God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit.

How do I find a picture that describes God to me... for who has seen GOD? He is Light. He is Beauty. He is Love. He is Power. He is a quiet Sound. He is undescribable. He is unmeasurable. He is transcended. He is all around me and He loves ME!

PEOPLE: (Especially children)!
Some I like. Some make me laugh. Some I don't understand at all. Some I want to find out more about. Some move me and SOME I just can't help but love!

NATURE:
I feel connected to God when I am in nature. When I am stressed, worried or just need to connect with God, I need to be outside and in nature. Being in nature reminds me that God made ALL this beauty for my pleasure and it should be enjoyed!

The words of this famous song come to mind:

"O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made.
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed."

How Great Thou Art By: Carl Boberg

ADVENTURE:
Another word for this could be EXPLORE or HOLY SPIRIT. Adventure to me is not "just" or "only" traveling, or something new, thus it receives it's own category. It's doing something rare. It's being lead by the Holy Spirit into new areas. It's doing something spontaneously. It's not knowing where the next step will take me, but doing it anyway. Adventure doesn't have to be about a "rush" feeling, rather a discovery, way of exploring or not alwaysbeing in control.

This is me jumping while on a trip to Cambodia where I helped a construction group build a kitchen and storage room at an orphanage.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
I love photos! I was probably about 12 years old when I got my first film camera and started having so much fun.  I still love and over all prefer film cameras.  My favorite camera is my Canon AE film camera which I received for my 18th birthday. I tell you though, my iPhone can capture such good photos too.  If you want to capture my attention, have photos framed in your house and a photo album laying around for me to look through. My newest goal is to gain knowledge in the area of cross cultural photojournalism with the focus on children. Maybe someday I'll put those photos in a book!

DANCING:
I started taking ballet when I was 8 years old and I loved it! Every birthday I would blow out my candles and make a wish, "I  want to be a ballerina when I grow up." I took formal ballet with the Royal Academy of Ballet for 8 years and because of other ideas, I let this area go. I hope one day to continue to work on this dream by becoming a BALLERINA on pointe.  Dancing is my most intimate way to worship God, I AM His ballerina! I enjoy many forms of dancing, but ballet will always be my favorite. I've been known to be very silly with "interpretive" dance as well.

CREATIVITY:
Taking a photo, writing a letter or story, painting, sewing a blanket, decorating or setting up a room, crafting random old wood together, building web-sites, assembling a flower bouquet from road ditches or making a "castle" tent out of sheets, I really enjoy some sort of creativity. I can tell I my mood is quickly lifted if I spend time allowing my creative side out from time to time.

I went to China years later, a dream come true!

CONNECTION:
One thing I have discovered about myself over the years is that I crave deep connection. God made me for real connections. I love to connect with God and people on a deeper level. And, if coffee/tea & chocolate are involved, I feel loved!
